This was, as many know, was not one of the best MCU films. The story was average and really needed something to help move it along at a better pace. This film really was important in the grand scheme of things. Introducing important characters; not just main characters, but secondary characters like Erik Selvig and Hawkeye as well. In many ways this is an origin story. It’s not your typical origin story in the sense that you see Thor gain his powers and learn how to control them, but we do see Thor grow into what he was meant to become and learn how to handle himself. Even though this was not my favorite superhero film, I found its importance in the overall Marvel Universe to make it not just worth watching, but enjoyable as well. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0800369/
