The Bourne Identity (2002)

I remember watching this film before and I know that I liked it, but I honestly could not remember much about it. I think Matt Damon’s performance as Jason Bourne was phenomenal. I don’t typically think of action films when I think of Matt Damon; I feel that he typically sticks to dramas or comedies, but this may be his best film (at least that I’ve seen so far). The story was unique and original (compared to anything I have seen before). What I loved about this film was that it made me think; I had to pay close attention to really understand what was happening—I may still even be a bit confused about some of the things that happened in the film. I enjoyed the film and thought that the writing was done very well. I felt, however, that there was something about the way some of the scenes were executed that I felt could have been done better. I felt that some of the scenes left information unclear. As I have not yet seen any of the sequels, this may have been done intentionally as a means to lead into new films. I look forward to seeing each of the sequels. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0258463/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_3
