The Amazing Transparent Man (1960)

I thought the opening credits were interesting. The way the title and the names faded in and out was a great representation of what was to come in the film. I very much enjoyed the fact that the test subject in the film was, in fact, a guinea pig. For a good portion of this film the story was terribly difficult to follow; it was hard to understand the “what” or the “why” of the film. However, as the film progressed began to come to a close it became very obvious what was happening. Once I began to understand what was happening, I was quite intrigued by what was taking place. Considering when this film took place, the graphics were done well. The group of characters in this film were some of the most unrelatable and unlikable characters I’ve ever seen. Each of the characters had major flaws, even the minor characters. Similar to the other films we’ve watched recently, I find it hard to categorize this film in the genre of horror; I found it to simply be a science-fiction film. Overall, not a terrible film, but far from fantastic. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0053593/
