The acting is about as good as you’d expect from a 40’s horror film. I thought that very little happened in the first three-quarters of the film. With this, I felt as though so much was smushed into the last twenty minutes, or so, of the film. Everything was both revealed and wrapped up during the last twenty minutes of the film, making this the best part. The plot twist that took place towards the end of the film was fantastic. It’s not something that seemed completely unlikely (it was almost made obvious earlier in the film), however, it was presented well to the audience, allowing it to be shocking. It took me a bit to get into this film, but I definitely liked it. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0040829/
