This film was full of really stupid comedy. The comedy was incredibly goofy and for a good portion of the film I struggled to find it funny. It wasn’t until about thirty minutes into the film, when Sean William Scott came in, that I really began to enjoy the film. The interaction between Sean William Scott, Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis was, by far, the best part of the entire film. I felt, however, that their part was too short and it seemed that whenever Scott was not on camera the film was significantly less funny. While there were still some funny parts throughout the film, I thought that Scott is what made the film bearable. I found Bruce Willis’ character, Jimmy, to be quite interesting in the sense that I felt as if audiences are so used to seeing Willis in roles such as John McClane in the Die Hard series that it was difficult to see and accept him in a role like this. I actually did not care much for the story; considering how serious the characters attempted to make the situations in the film out to be I felt that the scenarios that took place were just too goofy to get on board with. It irks me when films make simple mistakes that could have easily been avoided. For example, towards the end of the film, one of the stunt doubles for Bruce Willis was African-American, absolutely destroying the illusion that it was Willis. In general, I suppose the film wasn’t bad, but it certainly was not the best film I’ve seen either Willis or Morgan in. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1385867/?ref_=nv_sr_1
