The vibe in this film is similar to that of the American Pie spinoffs (The Naked Mile, Band Camp, etc.). With this came the corniness and the fact that the film, as a whole, wasn’t incredibly impressive. The acting was mediocre and the comedy was for too over the top. Andrew Caldwell’s Carter Scott, in particular, due to his lack of acting ability, every time he attempted to say something funny (and he was meant to be the comic in the group of friends), seemed like he was trying too hard to be funny. There were a few moments that I found funny and I actually laughed out loud, however, the majority of the film was full of comedy that was just too ridiculous and forced to be funny. I realize that it is tough to compare this film to “Drake and Josh,” however, for Drake Bell to transition from a show as funny as “D&J,” to a film like this is horrible. If I were him, I think I would have looked back at my time on Nickelodeon and basically assumed that my acting career was over after this film. The film’s plot was almost non-existent and the majority of the events that took place throughout the film had very little to do with the plot. Again, while there were hints at this being a potentially successful and fun film, it fell short in almost every way. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0844671/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
