This is one of the funniest films I’ve see in a long time. Damon Wayans is a comic genius and when placed along side Adam Sandler, you have a comedic combination that can’t let you down. This film had a number of things that might be considered uncommon in a Sandler film. There was nonstop use of the f-bomb, there was raunchy humor and there was also a number of instances with excessive blood. The humor in this film was simple but truly hilarious as I laughed out loud on numerous occasions. What I liked about this film was the fact that Wayans’ Keats and Sandler’s Moses differed from characters I had seen the two play in the past. Each of these characters had a serious side to them which added an appropriate dimension to this film. I thought this story was paced well and it kept me interested from beginning to end. You don’t always see plot twists and character development in a comedy (particularly ones with Adam Sandler, as they are typically pretty straight forward in letting the audience know what to expect), however, this film really had a good story. Often times comedies lead with humor and towards the end of the film the protagonist(s) reach a point in which they face adversity and all comedy stops (at least temporarily). This film was just the opposite, the main characters faced adversity early in the film with more hiccups throughout the course of the film. Laying the film out this way helped the film flow more smoothly as we never came to a point where we had to endure a dull void of comedy. This is a film you won’t regret watching. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0115783/
