It has been some time since I’ve seen this film. I remember liking the film, but I did not remember how corny it was and how uncomfortable it made me. The awkward songs and auditions were just a bit too much at times. The acting in this film, with the exception of Eliza Dushku and Jesse Bradford, was quite terrible. I understand the characters in this film are meant to be ditsy and a little strange, but I still felt the acting was subpar. The story, as a whole, wasn’t bad. It was full of competition, which made it intriguing to me (even if it all revolved around cheerleading). Not a bad film, just terribly corny and weird. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0204946/
