My knowledge of martial arts films doesn’t run very deep, so, I don’t have much to go on when judging this film. However, I thought this film was a lot of fun. I thought that the fight scenes were choreographed incredibly well and were very interesting to watch. The story wasn’t developed terribly well throughout the first half of the film, however, once the audience was in the know about Michael Jai White’s Isaiah Bones’ relationship to Michelle Belegrin’s Angela, the film got even better. I find it interesting that Bob Sapp appears to play animalistic characters in more than one of his films (I am curious whether this is simply because he is good at it or if there is another reason entirely). I thought the film was well-written, well-choreographed and well-acted. I was looking forward to this film, but I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0346631/
