Blade: Trinity (2004)

Blade (the character) has progressed from a dead-serious character to a comical character. I very much appreciate that his character has progressed and has become less of a one-dimensional character. The story in this film was better than the first but not quite as good as the second. I enjoyed the addition of each of the new characters, especially Ryan Reynolds’ Hannibal King and Jessica Biel’s Abigail Whistler. The character of Hannibal King is almost exactly the same as Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool. He’s snarky, funny and dick-ish, making him one of the best characters in the trilogy. Prior to this, I had only seen Dominic Purcell in the role of Mick Rory in the CW’s Arrowverse, so, seeing him in a different role was interesting. Although, I felt that there were not as many action sequences in this film, I believe that the action scenes that were in the film were superior to any in the other two films. I rank the three films as follows: Blade II, Blade: Trinity, Blade. The series as a whole was fantastic and I felt that each director did an excellent job with their respective film. I thought this film did a good job of wrapping up the trilogy. Again, I cannot wait until Blade is introduced in the MCU. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0359013/
