This film was terribly boring. Through research, I have found that this is often regarded as one of the best science fiction films ever; I couldn’t disagree more. I appreciate the story, however, it moved at an immensely slow rate and because of this I struggled to pay attention. Part of what I disliked about this film was the fact that it seemed to bounce around so much. It appeared that Ridley Scott cared more about the graphics than he did about the rest of the film. The film seemed so focused on the fact that it took place in the future and so many of the random scenes focused on showing off the visual effects; because of this I felt the film lacked in other places. The acting as a whole wasn’t bad, however, I felt that Daryl Hannah’s acting was subpar. Her final scene, with Harrison Ford, was absolutely horrible; I haven’t seen acting that bad in a while. It’s safe to say that I am not going to watch the sequel (Blade Runner 2049). http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0083658/
