To be perfectly honest, I enjoyed this better than the first film. I thought everything about this film was better: the story, the casting, the acting, the suspense, etc. I thought some of the casting choices were awesome (mainly because I really enjoy these actors); Ron Perlman, Norman Reedus, Matt Schulze and Donnie Yen all played excellent roles in this film (even if some of them were small). One of my favorite things about this film was the interaction between Norman Reedus’ Scud and Kris Kristofferson’s Whistler. What I find incredibly interesting about the character of Blade is the fact that he is the main character in these films and has very few speaking parts. So much of what he’s trying to do and say is told through his actions (and short, one-liners) rather than through elaborate conversation. This speaks volumes to the choreographer(s) and the director. Along with this, the fight scenes were as good as ever, and probably better than the scenes in the first film. This was a great film. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0187738/
