I actually sort of enjoyed Mandy Moore’s, Lauren Graham’s and Piper Perabo’s characters. Mandy Moore’s acting in this film was so much better than her acting in “A Walk to Remember.” Diane Keaton’s character, on the other hand, was terribly annoying. I thought the story was strange but plausible enough to make the film funny at times. What I’m starting to realize is that “chick flicks,” more so than any other film genre, are incredibly predictable. As frustrating as that could be I actually find solace in the idea that things happen the way they are supposed to. Not terrible as far as chick flicks go, but also not as exciting or interesting as I might have hoped for. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0490084/
