The story for this film was good. Along with this, the acting was pretty good compared to what I’ve come to expect from mid-20th century films. I thought the group of actors in the film had really good chemistry. Like many 1950’s films, this one moved slowly but the story and the acting allowed it to flow nicely. Everything that took place in the film seemed more modern than the 1950’s; the clothes, the acting and the conversations all seemed like something one might see in a modern film. The “spider-like monster” was almost laughable, but, I appreciated it as the film’s monster. This was one of the better early horror films I’ve seen. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0052609/
