This is, hands down, my favorite Batman film. Now that I have seen every Batman film, I can say with complete confidence that this is the most interesting Batman film to date. George Clooney lacks the same intimidation factor that previous Bat-men have lacked, however, this version of the Batman was actually intelligent enough to not be tricked by the villains. West’s, Keaton’s and Kilmer’s Bat-men fell for every trap set by their respective villains; at least Clooney’s Batman was able to figure out that Poison Ivy was “poison.” He was also, in general, a better Bruce Wayne. All of the action scenes were corny but they were fun and full of energy. Ever since I was a kid, I enjoyed the opening scene with the villains playing hockey with Batman and Robin. I enjoyed Thurman’s Poison Ivy and Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Freeze way more than I enjoyed Carrey or Jones in the previous film. Their lines were cheesy but they made me laugh a bit. This film is the most fun of all the Batman films and that’s definitely what attracts me to it. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0118688/
