This film was certainly better than the first. I think Danny DeVito’s Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Selina Kyle/Catwoman were incredibly interesting. They were both terribly weird (and corny) but interesting. I was unable to completely buy into The Penguin due to the fact that I’ve never seen this film before and I have been spoiled with Robin Lord Taylor’s Penguin in Gotham. I felt that Keaton’s Batman has the same issue as in the first film, he lacked intimidation. It may have been me, but I felt that Batman had significantly less screen time in this film than in the first film; I think this was part of the reason I liked this film better (because I enjoy Bruce’s character). Again, much better than the first. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0103776/
