This film was strange! I was excited, however, that this film fell directly into the category of horror (rather than some of the films we’ve recently watched that were less horror and more thriller or mystery). This was very much a horror film, however, due to the fact that this is a low-budget, mid-20th century horror film, it was incredibly corny. The “leeches” in this film looked insane and hardly anything like leeches. The costumes were very literally laughable (Steph and I both laughed on multiple occasions throughout the film). The acting was subpar but acceptable enough for a film of this caliber. The film was shot poorly; the camera was often so close to what it was shooting that it was hard to decipher what was exactly was on the screen. If you’re able to suspend your disbelief throughout the course of this film it’s actually enjoyable. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0053611/
