The story for this film was actually fantastic. This was a horror, murder-mystery, suspense and thriller all wrapped into one film. With that being said, I felt that the way the story was executed was poor. It’s hard to judge the acting in this film, however, if I’m simply judging it based on the English dubbed voices, it was terrible. There were points of the film that were very interesting, however, the majority of the film moved so slowly that I became uninterested in what was happening. I believe an updated version of this story may be very interesting and may even do well in theaters if done by the right people (there was actually an animated version of this released in 2009, but I can’t imagine the results of that film are representative of what might come from a live-action film).
