I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve never seen this film before tonight. The first half of the film I found interesting, but not laugh out loud funny. Early on I struggled to see why this is often considered one of the funniest films in American film history. From around the time that John Belushi’s John Blutarsky was peeping in on the girls changing my entire perception of the film changed. From that point forward I laughed out loud pretty regularly until the end of the film. I love that some of Belushi’s lines were improvised; it makes them that much funnier.
