Angel Heart (1987)

The film moves slowly. Typically, a film moving this slow would result in me losing interest, however, the film left open the question of “who done it?” I was left wondering throughout the entire film, what exactly was happening. The most upsetting thing about the entire film is looking at Mickey Rourke and seeing what he’s done to himself. Rourke’s performance, however, was nothing short of phenomenal.
