American Psycho (2000)

The story was interesting. I’m not really a huge fan of Christian Bale, however, I felt his performance in this film was more than sufficient. Everything he needed to do in order to portray such a psychotic and demented character was brought to life by Bale and I truly believed that he was Patrick Bateman. Ironically enough, based on this performance, I believe that Bale could play a solid Joker in a Batman film. The film kept my attention from beginning to end, I believe because it kept me on edge about what could potentially happen next. I enjoyed this film and even though I enjoyed all of the things I’ve already listed, it’s hard to pinpoint why exactly I liked this film so much.
