Before I even start on the film, I have to say that I cannot stand Tim Burton. I feel that his stories are poorly written and pretty much everything else about his films are terrible. This film’s animation is beyond terrible. Everything in this film looks incredibly fake (including Johnny Depp). The film, I feel, moves slowly, yet there’s so much going on. I find the film, as a whole, to be terribly boring. Technically, from what I remember, this version of the film actually follows the text better than the fully animated, Disney, version.
