The acting, as a whole, was subpar (considering I’m used to the acting today). Purcell Pratt, I believe, was the best actor from this film (also, completely off topic, he looks a bit like Walt Disney). Lillian Harmer’s acting was actually quite funny, as she was such a terrible actor. I enjoyed the story and thought that it was comparable to a plot that one might find in modern murder-mystery films. This film is considered a horror film; I can’t say that I would categorize it as such. This is closer to a suspense thriller than it was to a horror film. I found it interesting that, early on, many of the scenes were very short. Typically you might find that many scenes in older films are long and drawn out; this film was quite the opposite, at least in the beginning. Even with the scenes being so short in the beginning, the story still seemed to progress at a rather slow rate. Although the film moved slowly, I found it to be interesting and it kept me engaged throughout. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0024554/
